After graduating from Stillpoint School of Massage Therapy in 2002, located in the beautiful foothills of the Berkshires of Massachusetts, Shelly started her journey of wellness in the spa field, working with AVEDA as a massage therapist. Eventually, this took her to the bright and bustling city of Las Vegas where she worked in some of the top spas along the strip. It was there she received her Thai Yoga Massage certification and began studying Yoga.
Wanting to broaden her horizons in the wellness field she then took to the mountains, spending time in Denver focusing her practice on Sports and Triggerpoint Therapy and pain relief. She received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification at Corepower Yoga and continued bringing her healing energy to those around her through massage and movement.
After some time, Shelly and her family relocated to Charleston, SC, where she continued her education by attending practitioner-assisted Stretch Therapy Training and continued her work with Deep Tissue massage. When she started to notice that her clients were not only experiencing muscular pain, but also disease and imbalance within other body systems, she embarked on another journey within the Health and Wellness field. She attended a 160-hour intensive certification course, Dr. Vodder's Manual Lymphatic Drainage, led by Anne Bramham, in Hot Springs, NC. It was there she gained the knowledge and training to begin also treating different internal challenges her clients faced, in addition to common structural and postural issues.
Shelly's passion for helping others and her commitment to continue learning and evolving within the Wellness field shines through in her touch. Her extensive knowledge and training ensures that each person who experiences Body Revelations has an opportunity to not only heal, but also to deepen their understanding of the physical self.
