"Infection control guidance from the CDC reminds healthcare providers (and clients) that COVID-19 is spread primarily through person-to-person contact. Infectious respiratory droplets, produced when someone with COVID-19 coughs, sneezes, or speaks can land on the eyes, mouth or nose of an unaffected person, or be inhaled by an uninfected person standing close by. Smaller droplets may hang in the air for a period of time, while heavier droplets fall to surfaces. An uninfected person might touch a contaminated surface and then though their face, mouth, or nose, giving the virus entry to the body. Protocols that reduce the dispersal of respiratory droplets and the regular disinfection of surfaces in a massage place help reduce the spread of COVID-19."

With that being said there will inevitably be some changes, both in scheduling and required protocols, to ensure the safety of both the clients and staff of Body Revelations Wellness. Provided in this article is the information of additional safety and sanitary protocols put in place so that you can feel confident and secure during your time enjoying our services.
In addition to already having the proper EPA/OSHA approved disinfectant to clean ALL surfaces and having a strict personal sanitation policy, we will be installing touch free paper towel, soap and hand sanitizer dispensers in the bathrooms and throughout the Wellness Center. The massage tables and face cradles will have an added disposable cover made of medical grade fiber, changed with each client along with the sheets and blankets. Our practitioners will have a choice of wearing a droplet resistant polyester smock, scrubs or clothing that will be changed or disinfected between each client. The practitioner will also wear a face mask for the duration of your service time, check-in and check-out time included, and have footwear designated for in-house use only, disinfected each work day. Optional gloves will be available upon request of the client and/or practitioner but please INFORM US OF ANY ALLERGIES (i.e. latex, vinyl, etc.) prior to your session.
Each client will be required to fill out a new, virtual health history form and liability waiver provided to you via email upon the booking of your appointment. Each client will have their temperature taken by a touch-less thermometer upon entering the Wellness Center, and be provided with a disposable face mask to be worn within the office for the duration of service, including intake and checkout time. Provided to you at the front door will be washable spa slippers to be worn within the office.
Also, to limit the amount of contact with surfaces, we strongly suggest that you either pre-pay for your session, keep a credit card on file or consider buying a discounted package so that the checkout process is hands-free. For the safety of all, if you have had ANY symptoms related to COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing any other illness please DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE. We will be waiving cancellation fees due to illness for an indefinite period of time and ask that you notify us as soon as possible so that we may cancel your appointment in a timely fashion. NO ONE WHO IS EXHIBITING ANY SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS WILL BE SEEN OR ALLOWED ON PREMISES.
